What this site collects (almost nothing), what it is not (advice), and whose pictures these are.
Privacy
This site collects no personal information about you. There are no accounts, no forms and no cookies. Your choice of a dark or light background is stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere. To know how many people visit and which pages are read, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregate counts, no cookies, no personal identifier, no tracking across sites. The servers at Vercel and Cloudflare keep technical access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and operations, for a limited time, under their own privacy policies. There are no ads, and I do not sell or pass on any data to anyone.
Liability
Everything here is my own experience: what happened to me, in the conditions of that day, with the fitness and gear I had. It is not professional advice, not a safety briefing, and no substitute for a certified guide, a current forecast and your own judgement on the ground. Conditions in the mountains, at sea and in the air change fast, and what worked for me may not work for you. The GPS files offered for download record the way I went, not a recommended route. Responsibility for any outing rests with the person going.
